Gabrielle will perform one song at this gathering of performance and installation artists, sometime between 11pm and Midnight, Eastern Standard Time, in downtown New York, just minutes from one of the smelliest burns in history. Long after the scent is gone, New Yorkers still have trouble figuring out where south is, and it hurts. "Oh... Right. Gosh. The sky looks so empty," you say to yourself more often than you'd like to admit.

Save the Last Dance Cabaret
@ The Slipper Room
BENEFIT TO LEGALIZE DANCING IN NYC - 167 Orchard Street

THE ELIXIR DIARIES
@ WINDOWS on 42nd STREET
CHASHAMA 135 W 42nd Street, NYC
A festival of site-specific art and performance in the heart of the city
Co-Curated/Co-Produced by Laura Barnett and Caterina Bartha
Over a span of four months the festival will feature 200 artists representing over 40 companies. The event opens on March 18th and runs through June 15th, 2002. Admission is free.

St. Eve took over Chashama's three paneled store front window on for a live music video style theatrical presentation. This performance was set to pre-recorded music and the performers lip-synched for a live and unsuspecting audience. Special thanks to Darryl Hell (stage manager), Denny Daniel (videography), Rebbie WIlliamson (Prop Shopping & Curtain Making), and the lovely Mistress McCutchon, Madame Forsythia and Paige for giving their time and attention to this installation and video piece.

According to the Times Square BID, West 42nd Street is one of the most heavily trafficked pedestrian streets in the world; Windows on 42nd Street will be one of the most accessible public arts events ever.

What is this party about?
People from all over the world dress up as Stevie Nicks and sing/lip-synch Stevie covers while doing Stevie type stuff. Every year it gets bigger and crazier. There's even a movie about it!
