MORPHEUS RISING
Every Thursday at The Pyramid Club, 101 Ave A
Maybe it was a coincidence, but I have a song called Morpheus Rising. Winking, I gave one of the promoters (a fan) a hard time about this. I performed at their opening night, sparing the band my subsequent morph fest, but Madame Forsythia, in towering Marge Simpson wig, led me (in full gorilla gear) to the stage with a banana, which nobody could find later. Since the gorillagram biz is slow right now, I really had no choice. The Groucho Marx glasses were important. And when else am I gonna get a chance to whip out those old temp-secretary clothes. It's a shame I never wore the frilly panties at Pfizer. Oh, you know too much now.

This was a band gig with Fred, AJ and Kerry as well as perf-art guests Ms. Caterina and Caitlin Moore. Many people commented that they were shorter than Sara and Suzi. Vampire themed shows always have fake blood (no?) and Caterina and Caitlin were really good sports about washing up in the huge communal sink at the club. It was like a post-show event and vaguely biblical. We sold out all the cd's that Kristyn (our talented web mistress!) so kindly babysat. Post your comments in our guest book!
Patrick, the organizer, was amazing. He paid us without hassle and even provided us with catering. He's a pretty busy guy, what with the record store and label, so check out all his stuff at ferret.com.

ENDLESS NIGHT FESTIVAL
Musee Conti Historical Wax Museum
917 Rue Conti - NEW ORLEANS
New Orleans on Halloween Weekend
The weather was great for NoLa, not too crowded,
not too expensive, and there was lots going on and everyone dressed up in America's most haunted city...
I convinced the band (AJ, Fred and Kerry), two performance artists (Sarabella & Madame Forsythia) and my mother to fly down for the event! We ate too well and Otto's Daughter rocked!

Also Performing: Otto's Daughter!

FRESH MEAT @ GOMORRAH
located at TRUE - 28 East 23rd Street
between Madison and Broadway
Gabrielle of St. Eve performing with Katy Gillen (Cyberia of The PCult)
"God only knows what we'll come up with" was the original quote in this blurb and I've decided to keep it. I'll find the pictures. Katy wore a Russ Burns custom industrial apron and wrapped my dogtoy-steak bra'd body in Saran Wrap and then slapped a big nutritional info sticker on me while I sang. We went on after the teenage, ungloved "priest" bloodletting the barely legal, quasi-naked girl. Hey, the party is called Fresh Meat. My only complaint is that I recognized too many people.

ATLANTA, GA
DRAGON CON and THE MASQUERADE
4PM Show in the Concourse at Dragon Con,
the premier Science Fiction Convention.
Super goth/industrial friendly with other acts performing such as Clutch, Godhead, The Crüxshadows, and Voltaire! (who sweetly watched our flourescently lit show on the Marriott concourse when he could have been flirting in kinder lighting).
1am Show at The Masquerade / Hell
It's a Farscape Theme Night and I did a track act (already missing the band) but you KNOW I bodypainted Suzi and Sara to be Delvian Blue, and they were EXQUISITE!
Jason, the sweet promoter, gave us a runway, and the rest of the staff just rocked. Lady Sasha drove the entire way (14 hours) there and back because she has truckdriver blood, a saintly soul and a gorgeous ass. It was a tiny car and we filled it beyond legal capacity with costumes and whatnot, most notably, the blacklight fixture that separated the car into two teams.

AJ Tissian drums
Also playing - Voltaire!, Acts Magdalena, Bitter Grace, Coup d'Etat, Bow Ever Down
& the headliner, The Angina Pectoris never showed! Voltaire was *hurt* that we did not mention that he is also on the Tori Amos compilation. Meanwhile, I always puntuate his name with an exclamation point.
Thank you, Althea & Jason

Albion/Batcave
I performed (but did not sing) with ANATHEMA DEVICE
Instead, I brought out a fabric-filled blue glass head, which Kerry kept referring to as the plastic head. Then I took the fabric out very seductively and wrapped it around Kerry, unintentionally almost killing him over an errant monitor. These are the dangers of performance art.

Jagermusic.com Party
St. Eve will be doing a 20 minute set to track
opening for Glampire and his band
Sarabella and Madame Forsythia were my good sports for the track date evening. It was a small stage but all went well. There was a moment when I thought Glampire's drum kit was going to attack us during a particularly tulle enhanced number, but it stayed put.

The Black Light District
The good news was that we didn't have to bring the darn black light, so we said "sure". Madame Forsythia and Sarabella whipped on some bodypaint and made merry under an eerie canopy (the mosquito net from Ikea). I can't remember what I did. I probably wore white.

The Underworld
London:
174 Camden High Street
With This Burning Effigy
and Killing Miranda.
Track Date with Sally Doxey and Adam Joyce from Torture Garden. Sally pierced Adam til he bled a lot, we threw money at people and I wore tubes with glowing green toxic waste that coursed through my aritificial veins. Great value for your entertainment pound.

Gary Numan Tour
St. Eve - Support Act
London: The Fairfield Hall
Track Date with Torture Garden Perf-Art Guests Sally "Kamelyan" Doxey (and her knock-out wings) and Empress Stah on a HUGE stage, yikes.
Dublin: Vicar St. Theatre
Tim Mud (guitar) and Nathan Eighty on keyboard.
Belfast: Limelight
Tim and Nathan, again. I kept the wig on for the whole show so I could be incognito for the rest of the night and watch people congratulate the guys. Francis invited Gary and his wife back to the hotel for a drink, where he had purchased a room for the night with champagne and food for them. The Numans never came so Nathan, Tim, (hearty hearted) Romek and I sat up and drank their stash 'til the wee hours, talking trash.
London: The Forum
Paul Batchelor on keys, Tim Mud (guitar), AJ Tissian on drums. Perf-Art Priestesses Sally Doxey and Sarabella. Dual Video Projection by Nuroptics. Give it up for the Kentish Town massive!
Special thanks to Baron Frank for booking the shows, hiring extra performers & crew, and for promotional cd's & t-shirts.

The Sexcalibur Ball
Vesago throws another fabulous party! This time, it's a cyber-medieval theme at The Trocadero in Philadelphia. Lady Sasha drove Ms. Caterina (voyeur for the night), Sarabella and myself to the most technically plagued show I've done so far (not Octavio's fault). Later on, Caterina (naked, of course) and I (not naked) snuck into our hotel hot tub after-hours. Sara insisted on having her own bed (she had good reasons!!) and then didn't show up 'til 9am. S'ok, I love Caterina and our birthdays are a day apart. Sasha rested.
