Interview: Morbid Outlook

Morbid Outlook is an informative gothic webzine published lovingly by The Mistress McCutchan. Instead of a lengthy conversation, she asks a different artist every month to answer ten questions. Here are St. Eve's answers for the January 2001 issue.

1) Chocolate or vanilla?
Vanilla ice cream. Chocolate truffles. No particular order.

2) Do you have any pets and what are they?
One cat ghost. Finally others have seen him.

3) Favourite place to visit?
Wherever I have never been but feel I've been before.

4) Favourite article of clothing?
Depends on the day. Sometimes it's that deliciously overwashed t-shirt or sometimes it's some super uncomfortable but fabulous thing that makes me feel superhuman.

5) Favourite piece of art?
Changes. I was recently taken by some sculptures by Jim Amaducci.

6) If you were a cartoon character, who would you be?
I would be a cross between Rogue (X Men) and Blossom of the Power Puff girls. However, I once dressed up for a party in a fairly normal way for me and was stopped a couple of times to be told I looked like Storm. God, I love that white wig.

7) What are you most likely to be doing at 3 am?
Internet stuff.

8) Age you lost your virginity?
16

9) What piece of advice would you give to a teenager?
Grow up enough to take care of business but don't grow out of your ability to be a kid. I spent a long time coming full circle in a lot of ways. Now I get paid to jump around in silly costumes. You pretty much learn everything you need in kindergarten.

10) What are you most proud of to date?
The ability to survive in a non-corporate lifestyle.
